Our excellent swimming pool is a great place to dive in, keep fit, relax or keep the kids amused.
Swimming is a great way to improve fitness, tone up and burn calories. It is low impact meaning less risk of injury and is great for rehabilitation.
All of our pools run a varied swimming programme for all ages and abilities including dedicated sessions for uninterrupted swimming, adults or ladies only, sub-aqua, rookie lifeguard and family fun. If you’re a beginner or want to improve your swimming stroke, our approved ASA swimming lessons can help.

We offer an extensive range of swimming lessons following the ASA National Swimming Teaching Plan from levels 1 to 10. The continuous programme offers instruction each week with a maximum class size of 10.
Adult and Child for children 3 - 4½ years
This stage focuses on developing water confidence through informal play. For this lesson the child must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 16.
This category builds water confidence through play and introduces basic stroke technique, progressing to a stage where children are confident in the water.
This lesson aims to develop your child’s confidence so that they are able to swim with basic technique without floats and armbands.
This lesson concentrates on building sound foundations in stroke technique and developing breathing techniques.
This stage concentrates on building competence in all strokes and the development of other aquatic skills.
This category concentrates on perfecting the aquatic skills along with controlled breathing and continual stroke improvement.
This lesson works on the continual improvement of strokes and efficient swimming as well as developing a greater awareness in personal water safety.
This stage acts as an introduction into the early stages of training in competitive swimming.
Levels 8, 9 & 10
This level prepares swimmers to take part in competitive swimming clubs, focusing on effective techniques and drills and associated racing skills.
Adult Lessons for 16 years and over
We offer adult swimming lessons for both complete beginners and those wanting to improve technique, skill and stamina.

Rookie Lifesaving for children 8 to 13 years
Once the swimmer has developed the core range of skills required to be a confident, competent and safe in the water through stages 1 - 7, the swimmer may then choose to undertake the Rookie Lifesaving course. The ASA and the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) have worked closely together in developing this course and in producing awards that link into the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming.
One2One Swimming Lessons
Alternatively we also offer one2one swimming lessons for all ages and abilities. A flexible approach to swimming lessons that can cater for your individual needs. Use to supplement existing group course lessons or as your preferred method of swimming instruction.

West Norfolk Swimming Club
A fully inclusive, competetive Swimming Club for all ages. There are squads and competitions for all ages.
Training takes place six days of the week, the frequency and duration of training are determined by the ability of the swimmer, not by age. This allows swimmers to develop at their own pace and amongst similarly skilled athletes.
Fees are made payable to the club. More club information here.
Customers can only wear swimming costumes or trunks that are designed for swimming pools. Customers not wearing appropriate swimwear will be unable to use the swimming pools. Items not allowed to be worn in the swimming pool include:
Denim; Underwear; Vests; Bottoms that are longer than knee length; Thongs; See through / revealing items; T-shirts (unless agreed otherwise by the duty person); nappies (swimming nappies only).
