The job of Alive Leisure is to shape the delivery and promotion of leisure services, deliver a sports development programme and manage major leisure events for the town. Alive Leisure will commission the services through the newly established Local Authority Company (Alive Management Ltd) which will be responsible for the operational management and delivery of leisure services on a day to day basis.
Alive Leisure took over the management of King’s Lynn Corn Exchange, Lynnsport, St James Pool, Downham Market Leisure Centre and the Oasis from 1 September 2014.
The board members are Michael Andrews, Peter Lemon, Ian Mack, Abbie Panks, Ian Trundley, Avril Wright, Nigel Maggs-Oosterhagen and Marie Connell. Together, they bring a wealth of business experience and key skills to support the trust as it takes over the management of the borough councils leisure facilities.
